In 2019, one of our poodle puppies got out and was lost for several hours. We were panic stricken. Happily, we found him and all was well. As a result of that incident, we knew we needed proper ID on both our pups. I bought 2 of the Medium Double Sided tags for both our poodles, with the dog's name, our names, phone numbers and address. I was so impressed! Perfect in every way. Heavy duty, deep engraving - I knew they'd long outlast our little fur-babies. Five years later, they look just as good at they did in 2019! Unfortunately, Teddy lost his!  We looked everywhere and can't find it. So, I immediately found the Silver Paws website and ordered a replacement.  FAST fulfillment! MATERIALS

Blank on both sides. Our medium double sided dog id tags are durable, classy, finely crafted, and made from the highest and best quality materials. This medium double sided pet id tag is cast from yacht grade duplex 2205 stainless steel at a foundry here in Maine. The duplex 2205 stainless steel alloy we use is unsurpassed for its durable hardness and non-corrosive properties. The alloy is 100% rust-proof (even in salt water). The best of the best, this quality alloy is also scratch resistant, chew proof and will not ever shrivel, bend, blacken, become dull, or wear through at the loop. At 1 1/8″ in diameter, the pet tags are also thick, measuring the whopping equivalent of two quarters stacked together. A very thick, durable loop insures the pet id tags will not wear through, fall off, or be lost.

ENGRAVING

Engraving quality is just as important as the tag design and material itself. The medium double sided stainless steel dog ID tag boasts 4 lines of engraving which includes 15 characters per line on each side. A fiber laser deeply vaporizes metal from the lines of engraving. The laser process leaves a very crisp, well defined, blackened line behind which is really optimal for readability. A lifetime guarantee accompanies all of our tags and that guarantee includes the engraving as well as the tag.

Also, if for some reason, you ever need to change the information on the back of your tag, we can regrind, polish, and engrave the tag all over again. There is a charge for this service but it insures that you will never have to truly replace your tag.
